Welcome to the Austria Formula Cup

The „Austria Formula Cup“ was first held in 1992 and has established itself throughout Europe in recent years as one of the most important and successful formula series. In 2026, the formula series, which was also known as „Remus Formula 3 Cup“ and „Drexler Automotive Formula Cup“ for a time, will start its 35th season.

The championship has made a name for itself throughout Europe through its cooperation with the Italian „TopJet F2000 Trophy“. Together, the two series form the basis for exciting formula racing and continue to be regarded as a platform for Formula 3 and Formula Renault. Of the eight race weekends this season, four events will take place on Formula 1 tracks. A total of four different formula classes are advertised: the Formula 3 Cup for the latest generation of Formula 3 cars, the Formula 3 Trophy for older Formula 3 models, the Formula Regional Cup for the first generation of this class, and the Formula Light Cup for Formula Renault and Formula 4.
